Anthony Hopkins, the Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Oscar-winning film, television, and theater icon, has teamed up with Web3 media company Orange Comet for upcoming NFT drops highlighting his work as an artist.
The Eternal Collection is a three-part project centered on a set of ten digital animations of Hopkins digitally rendered as interpretations of various Jungian character archetypes he has portrayed throughout his career. Hopkins’ work as a painter is also incorporated into their designs.
The release date for OpenSea is scheduled to happen on September 16.
Anthony Hopkins legacy immortalized in the blockchain.
The project takes its name from the collection’s theme’s classic, enduring archetypes, which Hopkins worked on with the Orange Comet team. The animations depict the archetypes of the Hero, the Rebel, the Magician, the Sage, the Ruler, the Explorer, the Lover, the Creator, the Giver, and the Jester, with hyper-realistic digital renderings of Hopkins’ face. They will last between 30 and 45 seconds. Each of the ten animations will have a separate release of 100 PFP variants of their respective Jungian character theme, totaling 1,000 NFTs in the PFP portion of the drop.

Exclusive rewards for NFT holders!
Orange Comet will also auction off a one-of-a-kind NFT, a one-of-a-kind edit of all ten character animations combined into a single piece. Hopkins will donate a portion of the auction proceeds to a charity of his choice.
The collection’s three tiers — the 1 of 1 Iconic NFT, the 10 Legendary animations, and the 1,000 Distinguished PFPs — will include varying levels of utility, such as in-person events (including a one-on-one brunch with Hopkins), autographed physical prints of the NFT artwork, and exclusive audio clips of Hopkins discussing the archetypes in meetings with the Orange Comet team.
“When Margam Fine Art approached us with the artistic vision of bringing Sir Anthony Hopkins’ artwork to the metaverse, we knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the world of NFTs,” said Orange Comet CEO Dave Broome in a press release. “This relationship is a superb symbiosis of technology and art from one of our generation’s finest actors and artists.”
