Ford, one of the most well-known and prominent automakers, is expected to join the Metaverse with virtual cars and non-fungible tokens.

USPTO received nearly 19 trademark applications
The US Patent and Trade Office, also known as the USPTO, license trademark attorney Mr. Kondoudis reported that the Ford business had submitted approximately 19 trademark applications covering its automobile names, including Lincoln, Explorer, and many others.

A planned online market for NFTs, virtual vehicles, SUVs, clothing, and vans are also included in the trademark registration.
Mr. Kondoudis, Ford’s attorney, tweeted much information about Ford’s foray into the Metaverse.
According to the paperwork filed by Ford, the company intends to create downloadable artworks, texts, audio files, and movies depicting their automobiles and other vehicles, which the NFTs and tradeable will verify.
Ford also revealed plans to sell downloadable virtual products, including car parts and other accessories you can use in the virtual world. You can also use these elements to plan virtual trade shows.
It is now known that Ford used a website and other retail shop services such as NFTs and other digital collector items to create a reliable and extensive market for advertising all of the others’ digital artworks.
Ford is not the first company in joining the Metaverse
The company decision to enter the WEB3 area, or Metaverse, came less than a month after Ford CEO Mr. Farley announced significant personnel reductions across the board to save money and increase profits. However, more than just businesses are moving to the Web3 space.
Nissan, Hyundai, and several other companies have intended to enter the rapidly expanding metaverse market as soon as possible. In addition, several companies, including Lamborghini and Bentley, have already launched their NFT collections.
