After three weeks since EarlyMinter started doing our live streams at Binance Live, we reached the top 3 weekly leaderboards. With roughly twenty thousand followers and over three million likes, We’re building one of the most passionate and thrilling communities in the crypto/NFT space.
EarlyMinter went through a revamp process.
In August 2021, our CEO Ismail struggled to find good NFT projects through a good searching tool. There, he realized the need to build the best NFT calendar possible. So, in October 2021, EarlyMinter launched.
In a couple of days, EarlyMinter was receiving thousands of daily visits, and hundreds of projects were trying to list with us. As a result, we had to increase the team. The hype in the NFT space was so big that we received over a hundred requests daily to be listed with us for weeks!
We started making videos, reviews, and websites with a bigger crew for some projects. We spent uncountable hours analyzing the listing requests to be sure we wouldn’t list a potential Rug Pull/Scam project that could harm our visitors. We were an ongoing success financially and also felt that we achieved our goal of creating one of the best searching tools for users to find good NFT projects.
With the ongoing rise in popularity of the NFT space, it was only a matter of time before many problems would start appearing to everyone. It all started happening in February 2022. In one week, we flagged internally that over 70% of projects that applied for the NFT calendar were potential Rug Pulls/Scam projects. As a result, we received more than 50 offers from different projects to collaborate with us for a HUGE amount of money to advertise their projects to see investors being rug pulled after the mint date.
And so, seeing the constant rise in the number of scam projects, the drive we had to keep working with the same passion from launch was no longer there. There’s not enough money to make us change our principles and beliefs. And right there, we decided to make the switch.
EarlyMinter went from an NFT calendar to one of the most frequently updated news website
Okay, so we no longer have the thrill of running an NFT calendar-only platform. But we’re all still crypto and NFT enthusiasts. We have a good team; what can we do?
We’ve decided to switch from the NFT calendar to a news website.
So, in June 2022, the EarlyMinter crew started focusing all of its efforts on becoming the best news website for the crypto and NFT space, but we all know that’s a long process that will take time, so let’s start by being one of the most frequently updated ones. And just like that, EarlyMinter ignited the passion again. First part of the code: VBI8
We were happy with our path but knew we could improve even further. So we invested in courses of study for our members to have even higher quality articles, a complete revamp of the website, and a rebrand, as now we also have our very own mascot: Minty.
The best way to help someone is by sharing knowledge.
So in early August, we started live streaming in one of our daily briefings. To build a place where people could learn how to trade, the basics of crypto/NFT, how to prevent being scammed, and anything else people might need.
With Ismail’s experience in the crypto space (and in life), we knew it would work out, but we never expected it to be this big of a success. In weeks, we went from a new channel in Binance Live to the top 3 channels on the leaderboards. And by creating content and not only leaving a static image with some music in the background. We started building one of the most passionate communities we’ve ever seen (and we’ve seen plenty).
It fills our hearts with joy to see so many people interacting on our Discord server by sharing their life experiences and showing what they’ve managed to achieve after joining the streams. The successful trades and how Matt’s salary in the cucumber gift boxes makes them happy.
We want to thank each of you who are making this possible, and there isn’t enough money to pay us to feel what we feel by building this community. Thanks to the top 3 in Binance Live for the almost 7K followers on Twitter and for sharing the amazing stories in the streams and on Discord.
