SETH GREEN INTENDED TO USE HIS BAYC NFT FOR A FUTURE TV SHOW!
After getting his NFT stolen in a Phishing attack last month, the North American artist Seth Green finally got his asset back. He paid 165 ETH (around 295k USD) to get his BAYC Series back.
According to the BuzzFeed News report, four NFTs from Seth Green were stolen, totalizing over 300 thousand dollars. Among the NFTs, the Bored Ape #8398 is the most expensive at 200 thousand dollars.
The problem with this situation is that Seth planned to use the NFT in his upcoming TV show, “White House Tavern.” But according to rules from Yuga Labs, the license from the BAYC series gives the copyrights to its creators and concedes an extensive right to the token owners.
That means that when one person buys a Bored Ape, he can use, copy and show his art. In addition, he can create content and business with the Ape. But, this does not apply to stolen NFTs and sold afterward. So far, we can’t tell if the actor will be able to follow his plan to use his Bored Ape in his next TV show.
