TWO PLAYSTATION VETERANS TO LAUNCH NEW STUDIO CALLED LIITHOS AND DEBUT NFT GAME WILL BE CALLED ASHFALL!
Michael Mumbauer and John Garvin, two PlayStation veterans, are starting a new production studio called Liithos. Ashfall, an NFT game, will be their debut release.
Before, John Garvin was employed by Bend Studio. Many of the Syphon Filter games had him as their creative director. Additionally, he wrote and directed Days Gone and Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Mumbauer, on the other hand, served as the director of PlayStation’s Visual Arts Service Group.
Ashfall will be the first game produced by the new studio Liithos. However, a peculiar combination of phrases makes it very challenging to become aroused. This game is referred to as “the first real Web 3.0 AAA title for PC, console, and the Hedera network” in an announcement on the Liithos website (via VGC). Additionally, this game will employ HBAR, a “native, energy-efficient cryptocurrency.”
“Our goal is to create a truly next-gen, open-world experience that engages with new technologies to allow user-generated content. As always, our focus is on creating beloved characters, captivating stories, and evolutionary gameplay and a world worth exploring, not just in games, but other media as well,” stated Garvin.
